Laura Disley is a Masters’ graduate from UCL where she attained a Distinction in her LLM with a specialism in Social Justice. Laura completed her LLB at Queen Mary University for which she attained a First (Hons.), completing a year abroad in Madrid studying modules on international relations and criminal psychology. Laura has been part of the team at ISCI since March 2019. Having lived abroad for 17 years; fluent in 3 languages, her interests are of international focus. Laura’s research interests include; state crime, genocide, transnational organised crime, human rights, refugee and discrimination. Laura has edited articles for the International State Crime Journal, BHRN, and gathered information on the genocide perpetrated against the Uyghur by the Chinese state.
