Hannah Wilkinson

Hannah Wilkinson is Assistant Professor in Criminology at the University of Nottingham, within the School of Sociology and Social Policy. Hannah researches the areas of war, state violence and social harm. Her specific interests explore a continuum of state harm within the life course of former British military personnel (Wilkinson, 2022), combined with tracing the ripples of harm flowing from the US and UK led ‘war on terror’.  More recently, Hannah is researching the global rise of authoritarianism and warning signs of fascism.
