Dawid Stańczak

Dawid graduated from University of Ulster with a First Class Honours Bachelor degree in Sociology with Criminology. He is now starting his PhD research on resistance to state-corporate crime. The title of his research study is ‘Prohibiting State-Corporate Crime through Non-Violent Direct Action: A Comparative Study of Crime-Control from Below’. Dawid has also been a social media intern for International State Crime Initiative since October 2012. In 2013 he was appointed researcher on a project on direct action, which formed part of a larger ESRC project into civil society and resistance. Since then Dawid has co-authored an article in Theoretical Criminology with Dr Kristian Lasslett and Professor Penny Green.
