Rameesah Tanveer is an undergraduate Law and Politics Student at Queen Mary University of London. Her interests include investigating the ‘crimes of the West’ which involves looking into colonialism, imperialism, and capitalism. Rameesah recently conducted an interview with former Labour Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, John McDonnell, and Labour politician and activist, Bell Ribeiro-Addy, about UK austerity being a political choice and not an economic necessity. She is currently researching for a people’s tribunal on the War on Terror with Bezna Theatre, which will focus on the effects of 20 years of warfare.
