
Olivia Corner
InternsOlivia has an MSc International Relations from the London School of Economics and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Political Science and English. Prior to attending LSE, she worked professionally as an English teacher in Los Angeles and economic development researcher in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her LSE dissertation focused on the genesis of criminal organisation MS-13 with regards to U.S. deportation policies of young migrants from Central America, suspensions of due process rights, and protracted insecurity in post-war El Salvador. Her current research interests centre on displacement crises, human rights of migrants and children, and the application of military technology to civilian surveillance.
