Layla Abi-Falah joined ISCI in October 2021. She graduated from William & Mary Law School and worked as a lawyer on issues of accountability for international crimes perpetrated by ISIL in Iraq and Syria.  She is currently undertaking a LLM at Queen Mary University of London and is specializing in Public International Law, focusing her dissertation research on the adjudication of gender-based persecution as a crime against humanity in international criminal law.
