Hend Debbah joined ISCI in March 2020. She is an intern-researcher with an interest in human rights, protection of refugees, discrimination and state crime. During her time at ISCI, she has written papers dealing with the impact of COVID-19 on human rights in Israel, the Gaza Strip and the Republic of Chile. Hend is particularly passionate about ISCI’s work and its relevance to human rights and the status of refugees in the Middle East region. She holds two degrees, including a masters degree in teaching foreign languages and is a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. Hend is fluent in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
