Christabel has recently completed an internship with VSO in Kwara State Nigeria, where she lived with a Nigerian family and worked with a team to try to provide economic strengthening to two rural communities. She was also involved in organising and facilitating various events that focussed on women’s rights. She is now working to support a Nigerian NGO called SAFIN (SAving the Future Initiative, Nigeria) through organising fundraising and awareness schemes and events, researching and supporting an adopt a community programme, and designing and producing a monthly UK newsletter. She is a BSc Psychology graduate from the University of Sussex, and the results from her dissertation are currently in preparation for publication. She is now eager to develop her passion for international development through focussing on learning more about state crime.
